Special interests include: GP education and Women's health.

Studied medicine at University of Ife-Ife, Nigeria. Has a speciality interest in Diabetes care and Minor Surgeries. Has extensive experience in emergency care and general surgery.

Dr Walker is a Long term Locum GP and works at the surgery on a Monday morning, and all day Wednesday and Friday each week.
Advance Nurse Practitioner
Services provided by our practice nurses and healthcare assistants include dressings, ear syringing, removal of sutures, cervical smear tests, blood pressure checks, dietary advice and a full range of immunisations and travel vaccinations.
Dawn Turner can also see patients for minor illnesses as she can diagnose and prescribe.

We have a close liaison with the district nurses and other professionals who provide medical care in the community. You may be referred to these specialist personnel when appropriate.
Our Health Visitor offers a comprehensive screening programme for children under five years of age. She is able to offer advice in areas such as feeding, coping with crying babies, postnatal depression and health education advice.

We are very pleased to announce that the Practice Management has recently been taken over by two existing members of staff at the surgery. Kath Hyslop is now responsible for the Administration of the Practice alongside her colleague Bonnie Linnen. They are available to help with any problems or suggestions you may have and are very keen to hear of any comments that you may have concerning the running of the Practice to ensure that we are providing the service that our patients deserve.
Francis is a Clinical Pharmacist who works alongside the GP's at the surgery. He is able to see patients for minor illnesses and can prescribe.

Our team of receptionists are here to help you make appointments to see the doctor, arrange home visits etc. Sometimes it may be necessary for them to make personal enquiries - please do not be offended by this as all staff are bound by very strict rules of confidentiality.
